Former Yasuda Garden (moxacautery leave the nest and cannot say)

It is informed that we were constructed in the Genroku era year (1688-1703) by cause jorikukokukasakanhanshuhon*imbanshushushi. We are maintained as Shioiri strolling garden where we ever drew water of the Sumida River into. After the Meiji Restoration, become residence of Marquis former Bizen Okayama feudal lord Ikeda, and is next; of Zenjiro Yasuda became owned. We were contributed to Tokyo city after his death in 1922. We are transferred from Tokyo to Sumida-ku after the Pacific War and, after the Great Kanto Earthquake, perform full-scale repair and are restored to the original state and open. Damage by sea water is reproduced with pump artificially now.

The east gate becomes closing the gate for repair work. Ryogoku Station, west gate on the Kokugikan side open a gate as usual.
