Screen Museum

Tool and metal fittings such as "tack" "to wear" to use for panel and production that introduced main screen until last years of Edo era from the Nara era to chronological table style with social conditions at the time "tailor's knife" are displayed. In addition, process of manufacture of screen which we put different Japanese paper of six pieces before completion and put is introduced with the goods clearly. We can enjoy plural pictures with "figure of Edo manners and customs festival screen" made in the late 18th century and one piece, and, in display, "mechanism screen" is must-see.
